Do you have dogs or pets in your household?

Then keep a microfiber towel at your door to wipe them off when they come in. We keep a towel at each door, so we always have one ready to wipe them off, where ever you decide to bring them in. The “Dog Whisperer” suggests grooming or cleaning off your pet before they come in to help you keep your home clean.

Microfiber towels also are great when giving your pet a bath. They are more absorbent than cotton, so the job may require fewer towels or even a smaller microfiber towel will do.

I like to give our small dog a quick cleanup with a microfiber all purpose cloth. I just wet it and wash him up.

These would work well if you are preparing a pet or animal for showing. Clean and dry them up quickly with a microfiber cloth or towel.

Microfiber as great “attractibility” for dirt. It grabs the dirt, pulling it inside the cloth off of your pet or animal you are trying to clean up. Take some along when showing for quick touch-ups.

When training a pup, keep a microfiber cloth handy to wipe up those accidents, you can even use one to clean your carpets. First wash the spot with a pet deordorizer/spot remover and dry it with another microfiber cloth.

A couple times a week using a circular motion gently scrub your face from the middle working outwards. Then dry your face with  a soft towel.

Use can use a microfiber facial/wash cloth anywhere on your body, to help remove dead skin, and encourage healthy skin growth.

Another thing that is very important in having healthy skin is drinking enough water. Water helps to remove toxins from your body.

I have read about using pure olive oil on your skin after bathing. A natural oil to soften and moisturize your skin.

Microfiber - The Perfect Boating Towel

Are you a boating enthusiast, camper or hiker? Microfiber makes for a great towel to take along when hiking, camping or boating.

A smaller microfiber bath towel will absorb more liquid than the same size cotton towel, thus requiring a smaller towel to do the same job. That way it will take up less space in your luggage, camping gear or back pack, leaving more room for other things you want to take along.

I had a recent customer buy two 20″ x 40″ waffle weave towels to take with her on vacation. She said she loved them, and was very happy to have found microfiber.

You can buy the towels in sets also, saving you money. So the next time you need a towel to take with you boating, camping or hiking long distance, try a microfiber bath towel.

The dark green and navy 20″ x 40″ microfiber waffle weave towels have arrived. A number of years ago I was able to purchase a medium blue 20″ x 40″ waffle weave towel. I use when washing my windows. I wash them with a 16″ x 16″ all purpose towel and dry them with a the waffle weave. I can dry pretty much almost all my windows with just this one towel.

Take them camping with you. They dry out quickly, yet are superabsorbent, and don’t take up allot of space; so they make great towels for the RV or camper.

Go Green Street had an interesting article called “Eco-friendly Bathroom – 5 Ways to Green Your Bathroom”. They commented on using low flow shower heads and toilets. Using more “green” or environmentally friendly cleaning products, replace vinyl shower curtains and using lighting in your bathroom that requires fewer light bulbs. They also suggested replacing paper towels in bathroom with organic cotton towels or microfiber hand or bath towels.

Microfiber bath towels/hair turbans are soft and super absorbent, they will dry you and your hair off quickly. Just wrap up in the towel, patting first and then rubbing.

These make for excellent travel and camping towels, because they are more absorbent than cotton, but dry out quicker. If you are staying in hotels I would suggest not taking a white towel with you, as the cleaning people may think it is one of theirs.
