Cleaning your bathroom with microfiber cleaning towels can help you decrease your need for chemical cleaners in your bathroom.

Just wipe your counters, shower doors appliances that you may have in their with a wet microfiber cloth. Microfiber even picks up bacteria off a solid surface, helping you to cut down on or eliminate toxic disinfectants.

For me it is not my favorite job in the world, but periodically they do need washing.

But since I found microfiber, I don’t mind so much having to wash windows.

I hated going through all the work to take them apart, wash them, put them back together, only to find them streaked.

After trying many different things in the past, I still would sometimes end up with streaked windows.

Now that I use a microfiber all purpose cloth – to wash with and a microfiber waffle weave towel – to dry with, I don’t have that problem anymore. I can dry allot of windows with a 20″ x 40″ microfiber waffle weave towel, because microfiber will hold up to 7 times its weight in liquids. No need for rolls of paper toweling either.

Microfiber with it’s amazing dirt grabbing ability, grabs the dirt and gets it out of your way. Because of the special make up of the towel, the dirt is pulled into your cloth, not leaving it to streak up your windows. What is great about it – is you only need some hot water to wash with – no window cleaners necessary. Petroleum products in the window cleaner can cause streaking and will attract dirt.

So not only will you be able to clean your windows more efficiently, saving you time and effort, you can save money as well.

Did you know the dust in your house can be toxic?

I didn’t till I read this article:  TIP 9: GET RID OF THAT (TOXIC) DUST. It talked about what toxic dust is and how it gets into your home. They suggested ways to get rid of toxic dust and/or reduce the amount you have in your home.

One of their suggestions was cleaning with a microfiber cloth. Microfiber does a better job of picking up dust and dirt than a cotton cloth and you don’t need any sprays. The sprays can also contribute to toxic dust in your home. The fewer cleaners we use, the less toxic dust you may have.

Microfiber cloths can be used wet or dry for dusting. I like to use a slightly dampened suede cloth. It grabs the dirt holding it, in the cloth, till I rinse it out. It saves time dusting, because you need fewer swipes to clean, and since you aren’t putting dust particles back into the air, you may have to dust less often. And a hurrah for that!

So leave greener and healthier by cleaning with microfiber cleaning products.

The dark green and navy 20″ x 40″ microfiber waffle weave towels have arrived. A number of years ago I was able to purchase a medium blue 20″ x 40″ waffle weave towel. I use when washing my windows. I wash them with a 16″ x 16″ all purpose towel and dry them with a the waffle weave. I can dry pretty much almost all my windows with just this one towel.

Take them camping with you. They dry out quickly, yet are superabsorbent, and don’t take up allot of space; so they make great towels for the RV or camper.
