Waffle Weave Flowers!

Monday, July 19th, 2010

I took a navy, an off white, light blue and a light mint waffle weave facial or dish cloth and created a flower in a pot. I got this idea from a customer who had purchased some packages of the Assorted pack of microfiber cloths, and “rolled” them up and put individual “flowers” in small clay pots as favors for a women’s gathering.

It was a really cool gift, for not only was it decorative, but useful as well, and it helped the ladies live “greener” lives as well.

Microfiber dish cloths are great for picking up crumbs, dirt or grease off of your counter tops or appliances.

Got stainless steel appliances, clean them easier and more efficiently with microfiber dish cloths. No need to clean them with stainless steel cleaner again.

Want a great facial cloth for exfoliating your skin, try a microfiber waffle weave cloth. They clean your skin safely and chemical free. You can have more beautiful, healthier looking skin by just using a microfiber facial cloth.

Microfiber picks up dirt, grease and crumbs better than any cotton dish cloth!

If you like to bake, then you need a microfiber dish cloth. Cleanup is allot faster with microfiber, for it will grab the flour and mess in a quick hurry, removing it more efficiently from your counter, than cotton.

Microfiber also doesn’t leave allot of water on your table, counter or stove after wiping. No need to have to follow up with a drying towel, when cleaning up with a microfiber dish/cleaning cloth.

Do you have stainless steel appliances, that are a nightmare to keep looking clean and shiny. No need to use chemical cleaners with you use a microfiber dish cloth. They will leave your appliances looking great with just water. Just wipe and walk!

The waffle weave cleaning cloths are even great for facial cleaning cloths. Use them to keep your face looking beautiful, by exfoliating with a microfiber waffle weave cloth. Check out instructions on the facial cloth category page at www.MerryMicrofiberBath.com.

Got a gun with a scope, then you need to keep a 8″ x 8″ microfiber suede lens cloth in your gun case or pocket while hunting. They are soft, superabsorbent with ultrasonic edges, to have you keep your scope lens clean, for that great shot.

Microfiber lens cloths clean without scratching,  just remember to keep them clean. Dirt can scratch but the microfiber won’t.

They are also great for cleaning your glasses or the lens on your camera. You can use them slightly damp or dry.

Need a quick wipe, use them for that too.

Be Nice To Your Plants – Dust Them!

Here it is January, and your plants maybe becoming alittle dusty, I know mine were, and I also needed to transplant one of my Christmas cactuses.

I was going to repot the cactus earlier, but then noticed it was developing blossoms, so decided to wait. I didn’t want to disturb its blooming cycle by transplanting it.

So today I transplanted it into a new larger pot. Hopefully now it won’t dry out so fast, and the water won’t just run through it, when it is watered.

While transplanting it, I also gave it a “bath”. I had the pot sitting in my kitchen sink, so I sprayed it with my hand sprayer, connected to my faucet. Then I dried it off with a microfiber hand towel.

I used a microfiber dish cloth to cleanup the dirt particles and water “left-over” from potting. Microfiber is an excellent “dirt picker-upper”! Next time you have a potting job to do, keep a microfiber cleaning cloth around to help with cleanup.

And don’t forget to dust your plants. They will love you for it; for it helps them absorb sunlight better, keeping them healthy and happy! You can dust them by wiping them off with a slightly damp microfiber cloth.

Sustainability!

What is Sustainability?

Doing some research online I found some definitions of “sustainability”:

As we look at products used in our lives, are they benefitting or destroying the evironment. Is it a reusable or throw away product? Is there a better “greener” product?

In Sweden where the concept of sustainability began, industries are built in clusters where the by products or waste from one manufacturer is being used by another manufacturer in their manufacturing process. Parking lots are made from pavers instead of solid concrete, thereby eliminating or greatly reducing run off. Rain gardens are being promoted to help with runoff as well.

Collecting rain water for watering of plants, is sustainability and good conservation. Planting of drought tolerant plants also helps to conserve water in drought stricken areas.

Looking at how we use products in our homes and offices can help us be more “sustainable”. Reuse and Recycle is a sustainable concept. Products that are durable and reusable are an important part of sustainability. Using washable/reusable products instead of throw aways – like paper toweling, can and will help you reach sustainable goals.

Little positive sustainable changes over time can have a long term effect. If you used one paper towel less a day, in a year that would save 365 paper towels. If you have 4 members in your family and you all used one less, that would be 1460 fewer paper towels used and thrown away.

If 5 families with each having 4 members, saved one paper towel each a day, that would save 7300 paper towels in a year. By replacing paper towel use with microfiber/cloth hand towels and/or dish cloths, you would be helping to promote sustainablilty. Every time you replace a throw away product with a reusable product you are helping to promote sustainability.

I thank everyone who are doing their part in helping to save our environment for the next generations. Microfiber helps you to clean smarter, faster and more sustainable. Using microfiber bath products helps to reduce energy consumption – thereby preserving our oil and gas reserves.

Green Your Christmas List!

Friday, December 11th, 2009

Are you trying to be more “green”? It is the in thing these days, especially with the worldwide meeting going on in Copenhagen.

We can all improve on the ways we do things. Using less paper towels, will result in less wood products being used and trees being cut down. Trees are however a renewable source, they just take years to grow. 16 x 24 towels 5 colors oct. 2009 (500 x 325)

Using microfiber hand towels, microfiber dish cloths and cleaning cloths can help you be more green. They are washable, which makes them reusable. Microfiber is known to remove over 99% of bacteria off of a hard surface with just water. They will not only save you on chemical cleaners but on paper toweling as well.

So if you are assorted 12x12 dish cloths-medlooking to buy someone, something “green”this year, buy them microfiber products. Microfiber is available in many different products now, from dish cloths, hand towels, dish towels, microfiber mops and dustere, microfiber bath towels, spa towels, facial cloths, window cleaning towels, auto detailing towels, cloth diapers, pet and sport products.

If you are looking for other types of green products: check out “Let”s Go Green”. They have everything 50% off with this code: 50off till the end of the year. They carry water bottles, biodegradable garbage bags, composters, biodegradable disposable plates, bowls, glasses, office supplies and many more items. I really like my water bottle I got from them, so I got some for my kids and grandchilds for Christmas. I also have gotten the garbage bags for our use and for our church’s use. This is really a good deal, stock up and save.

Clean Blinds Easily!

Is cleaning your blinds not one of your favorite jobs?

Well cleaning them with a damp microfiber all purpose cloth will help you 16 x 16 Assorted Microfiber All Purpose Cloths (500 x 305)get that job done quicker and more efficiently. The microfiber picks up the dirt instead of just smearing it around. You will have to use fewer strokes to get them clean.

Yesterday, my husband and I went and washed windows & doors, cleaned blinds, cleaned fans, refrigerator at our church. It was quick work to let the blinds down, turn them so they were flat one way, wipe them off, turn them the other way and wipe off the back side.

High Duster doing fanMy husband used our new microfiber high duster to wipe off the fan blades. It works wonderfully for getting under appliances and removing cobwebs in the corners.

He then used the microfiber mop to wash some of the higher windows that were difficult to reach standing on the floor or ground outside. He just wet the mop pad and wiped down the sMop kit - 6 ft extension alumunium handle, 2 mop padstained glass windows. The mop comes with 2 mop pads, you could wash with one and dry with the other. Or if you can spray the windows, then wipe with a dry pad. The all purpose cloths will also “stick” to the Velcro on the mop head.

Both the mop and the high duster come with 6 ft extension handles. This allows you to get to both the high and low places.

12 x 12 Sage green scrubbing dish cloth (500 x 415)An easier way to clean the refrigerator is to use a microfiber dish cloth, just dampen it in hot water and wipe out all the areas of the refrigerator. At home, I don’t always remove all the items. If a rack is dirty I just use a damp microfiber dish cloth to wipe it off.

You can clean all these items without using chemical cleaners, all you need is a bucket of hot water.

Are You Struggling In Trying To Clean Your House?

Friday, September 18th, 2009

Struggle no more! Cleaning is easier, faster and more efficient when cleaning with microfiber cloths, towels, mitts or mops. Microfiber grabs the dirt, pulling it into the cloth – out of your way.

Do you hate dusting like me?

Since I started cleaning my house with microfiber, I need to dust less often; this is because I have less dust being stirred up and onto my furniture and shelves.

“Sweeping” my laminate floors with a microfiber mop helps to pick up even the fine dust particles, leaving your floor and air cleaner. A microfiber mop will work well on any hard surface floor. After I “sweep” my floors with a dry mop pad, I just wet the pad and mop up any dirt spots. The mop leaves little water on the floor, thereby it dries faster too.

One of my customers stated she loved her mop for cleaning up pet hair. She had all hard surface floors and dogs. She loved it for picking up all the hair left by her dogs, it really helped her to clean up her floors faster and easier.

Got windows to wash, do it with a microfiber cloth. Wet one in hot water and wash, using another to dry with. Windows will be cleaner because you aren’t using a petroleum based window cleaner, that can cause smearing and leave a film behind to attract dirt. I have found I can wash my windows allot faster using a microfiber cloth, since I don’t have to keep redoing to get rid of streaks and smudges.

Do you love stainless steel appliances but hate cleaning them? Wash them with a microfiber dish cloth. Just wash and walk away, it couldn’t be easier!
