Premium microfiber facial/wash cloths

Did you know you can exfoliate your face with water and a wet microfiber facial cloth.

A couple times a week using a circular motion gently scrub your face from the middle working outwards. Then dry your face with  a soft towel.

Doing this on a regular basis will help to:

  • reduce/diminish blackheads, acne, scars
  • minimize age spots and freckles
  • help to keep oily skin under control
  • helps to clean out your pores, removing pore-clogging bacteria & dirt
  • helps to smooth out rough skin
  • helps to reduce the visibility of stretch marks, wrinkles & fine lines
  • helps to eliminate dull, dry or ashy looking skin
  • helps to increase blood flow in the skin to encourage healthy skin
  • helps to brighten your complexion and give you radian, glowing skin
  • use a microfiber facial/wash cloth won’t disturb the pH of your skin
  • it helps to keep your skin “flake” free
  • helps to smooth out skin tone

Use can use a microfiber facial/wash cloth anywhere on your body, to help remove dead skin, and encourage healthy skin growth.

Another thing that is very important in having healthy skin is drinking enough water. Water helps to remove toxins from your body.

I have read about using pure olive oil on your skin after bathing. A natural oil to soften and moisturize your skin.

During the month of May – all of our facial cloths are on sale.

DIY Microfiber Mitts

Monday, January 25th, 2010

Want a microfiber mitt to dust with – make your own. All you need is a 16 x 16 all purpose cloth, or a suede one that is used for dusting electronics and delicate items.

Just fold the cloth in half, lay your hand on the cloth and trace around it in the form of a mitt, using the sewed edges as the bottom edge of your mitt.

Either machine stitch or handstitch using a “blanket stitch” to finish off the edges, but donot sew the bottom edges together.  Turn the mitt right side out, and there you have it your own microfiber dusting mitt.

Or use a 12 x 12 waffle weave facial cloth and make yourself a mitt to exfoliate your skin.

In our personal care we need to look at ways we can be more green also.

Here are a few ways to accomplish that:

  1. Stop using disposable razors – in this way you will reduce waste – buy a permanent razor with refillable blades
  2. Look at your cosmetics, read the ingredient list and then go here: http://www.safecosmetics.org/ to see if the chemicals in the products you are using are safe for you and the environment
  3. Use cosmetics or write to the company you buy from, that are putting the cosmetics in paper containers instead of plastic
  4. Wear natural products over polyester
  5. Buy clothes that can be washed over those that require dry cleaning – which is toxic to the environment
  6. Clean/exfoliate your skin with a microfiber facial cloth and water over using harsh chemicals
  7. Reduce the number of towels you use by using microfiber bath towels
